MCI names ACC Liverpool for annual meeting

Global event agency MCI is bringing its management board meeting to ACC Liverpool next April.
The two-day event will draw together “leading conference and event figureheads and decision-makers from MCI’s global offices”, according to the company.

ACC Liverpool was chosen not only for its event facilities, but also for its location and accessibility from major European airports. Erica Fawer, Director of Event Operations for MCI commented: “We wanted to experience more of the UK and have heard great things about Liverpool as an up-and-coming conference destination and cultural hub. The team at ACC Liverpool have been more than welcoming and have covered every angle possible to make our experience of Liverpool a success.”
The UK city follows in the footsteps of previous host locations including Monaco, Montreal, Paris and Amsterdam.
Kerrin MacPhie, Head of Sales for BT Convention Centre Liverpool said, “We feel privileged to be welcoming MCI next year, as we can demonstrate what we can do as a conference and event venue and also capitalise on what the city has to offer for in-bound delegates. We are delighted that we have outrun the more traditional UK destinations and have been given this opportunity to spread the appeal of Liverpool.”
